What is Art Psychotherapy?
Art psychotherapy is a process which helps us to “see” and express thoughts and feelings which may be causing problems or obstacles in our life. Sometimes we find such thoughts and feelings too difficult to put into words or we may not even be aware of them. Unlike traditional art, art therapy is more about the process of creating as much as the finished product. No artistic skill is needed!
